Overnight oats: an healthy and yummy breakfast

Updated: Apr 18

We know the importance of breakfast to start the day in a good way. Even more before an event like a Mudgirl race. It brings energy, boosts your concentration and helps memorisation 😋

Here is what you need:

  • ⅓ cup of nature greek yogourt (or vanilla)

  • ½ cup of oatmeal

  • ⅔ cup of milk of your choice

  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds

  • 1 scoop of protein powder

  • ½ tablespoon of vanilla

  • 2 tablespoon of natural peanut butter

  • 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder

  • a little bit of honey or maple syrup

Optional: Add a little bit of fruits (bananas, red fruits) 🍓

Notice: some elements are optional like cocoa powder or peanut butter, the advantage of this recipe is that it is adaptable to your tastes and your cravings of the moment.

Mix all the ingredient, transfer in a tupperware and keep it in the fridge all night.

Small alternative, more chocolaty 🍫 (preferably with 70% chocolate):

While your porridge is cooling down for a few minutes, take the opportunity to melt the chocolate (in a double boiler or a few seconds in the microwave)

Take your porridge out of the fridge, then spread your chocolate on top of your porridge, put it in the fridge all night, you will have a little solid layer of chocolate on your porridge! A healthy and delicious breakfast to start the day in good shape! 🌅
